Shopping tourism: An investigation in relation between shopping and leisure in Thailand.

I would love to talk about tourists who travelling to Thailand for their leisure purpose and the interesting activity is shopping. Why visitors visiting shops or stores while being a tourist?. Also theory of shopping and the link between shopping and leisure.It said that shopping tourism bear on shopping is a basic motivation for travelling to destinations and tourist shopping mention to shopping while at the destination (Timothy, 2005). This is an interesting topic that I am going to write on my dissertation in this year. If you guys my friends have any recommendations or comments please visit and post any ideas, this would help me to improve and getting new ideas for my work. Thank you:))

    In my opinion you should look for information about how Thailand government invest in advertisement and how this advertisement have relation whit the shopping and what kind of products should be interesting for the tourist and if those products are available in the main places where the tourists usually go in Thailand.

    I reckon shopping is a part of travel and holiday in Thailand bacause there are so many places are interesting and unique. That toorists can shopping with different types of shops and places. For example,JJ Market and Chiang Mai Market those different type of market are unique and show the courtual of its provience. Popular and cheap is another reason for shopping in Thailand to compare between other countries. Also, Thailand has many beautiful places for holiday nature,adventure,mountain,temple,etc.

    it is a very interesting topic. I'm so curious to read about it! I know that Thailand is famous for nature and heritage attractions, but I think that it is also known as an attractive place for shopping and relaxing time! I think that it will be an amazing dissertation. Good Luck!!!
