new topic

Today i am coming with new idea of my topic of shopping. To what extent is shopping a priority leisure activity for international tourists in London. As it can be seen so many tourist such as Chinese, Thai, Japaneses, etc coming to England and the most famous activity is shopping. Why these tourists need to shop in the UK and what is the motivation to buy goods here in the UK. These will looking into their behavior of shopping as well. Any suggestion very welcome. Cheers :)

  1. Hey, Netty! I can tell you that shopping tourism is not my favourite topic for acamedic studies. However, as I am still a single traveller, I am still going to buy something to somewhere! It means that the shopping is the one of the important part of activities when we travel to somewhere else. So it is really a valuable topic to reseach in depth what kind of factors tourists want in a specific area when they shop and why they need to do it. Also what is their expectation toward that areas and what is their behaviour. I feel like there are so many things to concern about this topic.

I still think that the research in Thailand is worth to do. Because the number of people go to Thailand for shopping and the shopping-related businesses such as whole sales. However, I believe that you got the right way so keep doing and good luck with you! I am looking forward seeing your finding!

  2. I think one of those reason for torist shop in London because first of all London is a fashion city which new arrival clothings always shown first and also they are in good price. I mean by comparing with Thailand where i come from, prices of designer clothings are very high as they have to pay at a very high rate of taxes. and people can also do the tax refound when they leave the country which is very interesting to do shopping there.
